  • How do I register?
    • There are two ways to register for the 2022 Management Best Practices Institute:
    • 1. You can register online by clicking here.
    • 2. You can register by phone by calling the OPEN MINDS Education Events team at 717-334-1329 or 877-350-6463. Regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm EDT.
  • What does the institute registration include?
    • Your retreat registration includes
      • Access to all Retreat sessions
      • Admission to the Retreat Exhibit Hall
      • Handouts and presentations from all sessions
      • Breakfast on October 5th and October 6th and an invitation to our private networking reception on October 5th
  • Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
    • Yes, you will receive a confirmation email from the OPEN MINDS Education Events team. The email will ask you to review the information that will appear on your attendee badge, and list any other pertinent information related to the institute.
  • What is your cancellation/substitution policy?
    • Requests for refunds must be received in writing at least 30 days prior to an event and are subject to an administrative charge of $50. No refund will be made less than 30 days prior to an event or for complimentary registrations. Substitute enrollment for another OPEN MINDS event on another date will be accepted for an administrative fee of $25, plus the difference in registration fees. An alternate individual may attend in place of a registered attendee at no charge. Requests for refunds are not accepted for group purchases. Unused registrations for a particular event will be added to a group registration subscription for the organization to use for an alternate OPEN MINDS event within one (1) calendar year from the date of purchase. OPEN MINDS reserves the right to use any photos or video footage from OPEN MINDS events for future marketing materials.

At The Event

  • How do I register once I get to the institute?
    • The OPEN MINDS Executive Leadership Retreat will be held on the first floor of the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel, Gettysburg, PA. Follow signs to the registration table.
    • If you have any difficulty, all OPEN MINDS staff will be wearing a blue name badge and will be able to assist you.
    • Registration will begin at 7:30am on Tuesday, October 4th. At the registration desk, you will receive a name badge, program guide, and a variety of materials from our sponsors.
  • Where can I get handouts from the presentations?
    • Handouts and presentations will be available to all attendees. The presentations will be posted online during the Retreat. The links to the presentations will be posted on the Retreat agenda page at and available for 30 days after the Retreat.
  • Where can I get an updated agenda for the institute?
  • How can I learn more about the event sponsors?
    • There will be handouts from institute exhibitors in the attendee bags that you receive at registration. You can learn more about all of our partners and exhibitors online.
  • I plan to attend virtual sessions only. Will all sessions be livestreamed?
    • If you are planning to attend virtually, not all sessions will be livestreamed. Please review the agenda for details on which sessions will be livestreamed.
    • On-demand audio recordings (for sessions not livestreamed), livestream video recordings, and presentation materials will be available within one week after the Institute and remain available to Institute registrants for 30 days. Elite members will have continued access on the OPEN MINDS website
  • I couldn’t attend the institute, can I still get copies of the presentations?
    • Most handouts, presentations, and materials from the sessions are available to Elite OPEN MINDS Circle members. After the institute, the presentations will be posted on the event website and in the OPEN MINDS Circle Library.
